Tones Ancho Chili Seasoning is a savory latin chile seasoning with some heat of ground Ancho chile peppers. Use Ancho Chili Seasoning to flavor beef, pork, chicken, seafood and vegetables.

Ancho Butter Grilled Steak Recipe

  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Tone's® Ancho Chile Seasoning
  • 8 steaks, rib eye or top sirloin
  1. Combine softened butter and Tone's® Ancho Chili Seasoning.
  2. Shape into log. 
  3. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  4. Chill at least 1 hour.
  5. Grill steak to desired state of doneness.
  6. Slice butter into slices, approximately 1 tablespoon each.
  7. Place a butter slice on each steak. Allow to melt slightly.
  8. Serve immediately.

Agave Lime Glazed Ancho Chicken Recipe

  • 1/4 cup agave
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Divided, 2 tablespoons Tone's® Ancho Chile Seasoning
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup crumbled queso fresco cheese
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges
  1. Combine agave, lime juice and 1 tablespoon Tone's® Ancho Chile Seasoning. Set aside.
  2. Season chicken on both sides with remaining 1 tablespoon Tone's® Ancho Chile Seasoning.
  3. Grill chicken for 12 to 16 minutes, turning once, until cooked through.
  4. Drizzle with glaze during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
    - OR -
  5. Bake chicken at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once until cooked through.
  6. Drizzle with glaze during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  7. Place chicken on serving plate and top with queso fresco cheese. 
  8. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.
