The sweet, warm and spicy flavor of Ground Nutmeg makes it a popular baking spice in such items as cakes, cookies, doughnuts, and breads.
Sprinkle on eggnog, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and fruit. Add to egg and milk mixture to make French Toast.
Ground Nutmeg is produced from dried nut meats of the tree Myristica fragrans Houtt.
Use Ground Nutmeg in cookies, cakes, puddings and fruit dishes. Sprinkle on eggnog. Add Ground Nutmeg to meat loaf, spinach and creamed chicken.
