Preheat oven to 325°. Trim chops and lay in shallow pan (13 x 9 x 1). In large bowl mix together cubed bread and seasonings, add the warm water and mix lightly. Add egg and mix again. Cover chops with dressing (about 1 inch high). Pour milk around chops. Butter one side of aluminum foil and place over pan, buttered side down. Bake 40 minutes covered, remove cover and bake another 35 minutes. Serves 8.
