Recipe: White Potato Bread

White Potato Bread Ingredients
- 2 cups potato water (may add some of potato mashed)
- 2 cups cold water (or more)
- 2 tbsp dry yeast
- 1 heaping tbsp sea salt
- 1 heaping tbsp Crisco
- 1/4 heaping cup sugar
- About 5 pounds flour
To make White Potato Bread
- Pour hot potato water (and mashed potato) over sea salt, sugar and Crisco. Stir until dissolved.
- Add cold water. Cool to warm.
- Add yeast which has been mixed in a little warm water.
- Add flour 1 cup at a time until desired consistency and knead. Grease top of bread. Cover with a damp cloth. Let rise until doubled.
- Press down. Grease, cover with damp cloth and let rise again.
- Put in bread pans, cover and let rise.
- Bake in a preheated 375° F oven for about 45 minutes.
