New Orleans Style Rice Pilaf Mix
OVEN PREPARATION:
- In a full metal steam pan, add 12 cups of hot water, 2 ounces of butter and contents of Zatarain's Rice Pilaf Mix.
- Stir thoroughly; then cover tightly with aluminum foil or a steam pan lid.
- Place into a preheated 400 oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until rice is cooked. Do not over cook.
- Remove cooked rice from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Just before serving, fluff rice with a fork to mix.
Makes 34 1/2 cup servings when served with a #8 scoop
