Thank you jglass -

it's just locked in my head and making me miserable - plus from the injuries from the accident the pains are excruciating - any head cold, windy conditions, etc. and this is what happens -

You have had an accident? I didnt know

After all of the cooking it doesnt look like he is going to come and get his dinner.
I called him and he and his wife were in a horrible argument. She was doing some big time yelling in the background. Oh well if he doesnt I know what we will be having for Sunday supper lol.

thank you janie - you are a sweetheart!

Mama loves her family -

I wish we could all get together some day!

If I hit the lottery - every travels this way so we can party and meet each other!

Wow Janie all that cooking, and now they won't even be able to enjoy it! I hope he comes and gets it. Maybe it is all the hormones from just having the baby! This is the brother that's wife just had their baby right? Well in any case, I just can't bear to think of all that wonderful cooking you did for them, and now they won't even be able to enjoy it:( How sad....and that new baby geez.......

It would be so wonderful if we could all meet someday.

Yeah Im afraid it is looking like Im gonna get stuck with all of this food. I cant even eat ham and Jon doesnt like it much. If he doesnt get it today or tomorrow then Im gonna see if Jon's Dad wants the ham. My fil still has frozen turkey in his freezer so I know he isnt gonna want that. I like turkey so I can use it eventually. I made oyster dressing for us last night so I have no idea what to do with a big pan of cornbread dressing. I guess I could freeze it. I planned to make rolls for Jon and I today so we will probably go ahead and eat the ones I had made for them instead. I made a cake for us yesterday and there is no way we can eat that one and the one I made for him. I have one neighbor here who is a big guy he works construction and loves to eat. If he is home I may see if he will take some of it. Im gonna give my brother today and tomorrow to come get it and then Ill have to do something. My fridge is stuffed with his dinner right now. I made the cake late tuesday night and you wouldnt want to let it go much longer before it is to stale to eat.
I dont know what they were arguing over. I didnt want to pry. After he told me what was going on and I heard her yelling I just told him I loved him and got off the phone.

I didn't think it was possible after eating all day long... but here I sit after viewing these wonderful photos janie- and I'm hungry again! what YUMMY-LOOKIN' MORSELS, DEAR! :)

And mama... I'm buyin' tickets too - to increase our chances! :)

Welcome back Kev!

My brother got to pick up his dinner about 2pm today. I had two boxes packed for him with the turkey, ham, cornbread dressing, chocolate cake, rolls, salad, balsamic vinaigrette, apple pie jam, olives, gravy, homemade garlic pickles, homemade pickled beets, herb roasted turnips, deviled eggs and mashed potatoes. He stayed long enough to have coffee with me then he went home around 3pm. They called later in the evening and said they really enjoyed it.
When he came by he brought me about 18 or so cans of vegetables. Their oldest daughters school had brought them by a food basket I think.

Jon and I had duck, oyster dressing, herb roasted potatoes, rolls, salad, mac and cheese. I made the chocolate loaded peanut butter brownies for dessert.

Well - I'll let you all know just how close I came on the "big" winning ticket -

$5.5 million was on the line last night - you needed 6 out of 6 numbers and I was so close!

I HAD ONE NUMBER!

(heck it's better than all those tickeets I bought with no numbers that matched!)
