That's what I am having tonight at least. I picked up some nice lean looking beef tenderloin filets last night at the store. I'm not experienced at grilling and have in fact never used a grill, but my boyfriend loves to grill and he makes steak better than most restaurants. So tonight I'll be having some grilled tenderloin. He always puts some worcestershire sauce and black pepper and maybe some minced garlic. I love the way he cooks them for me. : )

Do you wrap the filets in bacon? That is often done to add flavor to the meat since it's very lean. You don't need to eat the bacon itself, the flavor will transfer in during the cooking.

A friend of ours bought the bacon wrapped filets from Omaha Steaks, and removed the bacon for breakfast before cooking, instead of cooking the filet in the wrapped bacon.

These were not wrapped in bacon. I have them that way most of the time, so it was actually a nice change to not have them wrapped in bacon.

Drooools...............I love tenderloin. Sometimes I get that pre-packaged tenderloin (log shaped). The peppercorn one is really good. I think Hormel makes it...cant remember for sure. I usually bake it though.

Mmmmm! I LOVE grilled steak! It's so good. I put worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, parsley, garlic & some other things on mine. :)
