My Nanny used to make this for every Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner, so today I just had to carry on the tradition and I am so glad I did! It's more of the way Cubans and Puerto Ricans would make guacamole' and soooo YUMMY!

1 Large ripe avacado
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 small sour cream
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp.garlic powder
salt & pepper

Mash avacado pulp, mix in all other ingredients until well blended and creamy. Chill & Serve with chips, tortilla chips, raw veggies, etc.

Yum, Cath! I'd love this as a dip for flour tortilla chips- or smeared onto an omelet!

Kev,

You got that right on the mark, since Eddie can not eat corn I use flour tortillas that I sear on a griddle and then I cut them into quarters, the avacado dip was great on them. I also use the flour tortilla's to place my grilled cheese stuffed jalepeno's on, mui deliciosa!
