Jon and I were up late. Im trying to put the finishing touches on my new computer and I hear someone screaming from outside. It is really foggy tonight so I couldnt see much. I recognized the voice as the lady who lives across the road. Come to find out there was a carload of meth heads from the worst apartment complex in town chasing two guys hiding behind their house because they claimed they had stolen $25 from them. None of the bunch had a tooth in their head and their eyes were glazed. The woman who lives their who is a friend of ours had heard them around her house and pulling into their driveway SOOoo she comes outside using a grill lighter like a gun and tells them she has a pistol and is screaming at the top of her lungs. A couple of them had tried hiding in a ditch to get away from her and she drug them out lol. She is a big woman needless to say.
By the time the cops come she has like four meth heads in their 30's cowing at her feet with her lighter. One guy was even crying. The apartment building they are from in across the street from here a little ways down the road close to the river. It has a horrible reputation and the cops are there all of the time. It seriously isnt safe to take the garbage out late here because you never know if your gonna run into someone high on God only knows from there.
After all the freakin drama they let everyone go :rolleyes:
I told Jon that does it for me. No more taking the garbage out back at midnight. Those idiots were in the parking lot here tonight. I always have my 38 with me when I go out after dark but why borrow trouble.

Not to long ago I heard a story on the news about a guy who comes home from work. He hears a noise in the house. His family is all asleep. He wakes his wife and tells her he hears a noise. He gets a BB gun pistol and starts checking each of his children's rooms. They are all asleep. He starts to check closets and he opens a door to one and hiding in a closet is a naked man.
He holds this man at bay with the BB gun pistol until the police arrive. The wife had called 911. The police arrive and who gets arrested? Not the naked guy. They arrest the homeowner because he unlawfully detained and individual in a terroristic manner with an illegal firearm.
I wonder how many years you can get for using a flaming device as an illegal weapon?

I find it interesting that the law more and more forbids us to defend and protect ourselves even in our own homes yet at the same time the Supreme Beings....er.....Court has ruled the police have no obligation to protect us as individuals.

and they (the police) have the right to taze pregnant women and senior citizens who ask when they are being pulled over - I'd love to shove a taser or two up a cops............
