Thanks, I hope you have a good & safe weekend to. Cookie How was everyone's holiday weekend? I just got in after going "away" up to St. Charles, Illinois on the lovely Fox River. My sis and I went flea-marketing. My Dad, his wife and my niece & nephew shopped for school clothes at outlet malls, and we all took long walks along the river, ate several fine meals out- as well as at our camp-site over the camp-stove, and just in general had a nice relaxing weekend! Hope you all did, as well!

We spent ours worrying about Gwynn. Had her in for emergency surgery on Friday (just what we need over a holiday weekend) due to a uterine infection that, it turns out, is fairly common in dogs but which if not caught can kill them. Had to have her spayed. And, while doing that, the vet discovered a growth on her small intenstine, and that had to be removed.
Not a fun time for us. And even less for her, I reckon.
