That was a once in a lifetime scene. I can't believe that one came back at the other with all those people around him.

I know! They get crazy in rut.

A few years ago a friend of mine was hunting quail over
by Spokane; his pointer went into the brush and went on
point, all of a sudden she ran out yelping, unlike her as
she was a bold *****. Behind her was a crazed whitetail
buck - the buck went after Clyde and he was ready to shoot
him in the head with his 20 gauge when the buck broke off
the engagement.

I've seen whitetail as well as mule deer while hunting quail
on the Yakima Reservation.
