What did you have for dinner last night?

Congrats to your mom & I hope everyone likes your cookies.

We had Fiesta Chicken Pasta last night... I'm hoping this menu thing does help save us some money. Tonight we are having Quick-Fix Cheeseburger Meat Loaf. Hubby should be happy because he loves meat loaf. Especially when it has cheese in it.

I ended up making a chiken pot pie last night. It's one of those "one dish meals" for nights I just don't feel like doing much.

The baby's been having a hard time sleeping lately and it seems like I've done more putting him back to sleep in the middle of the night than actually sleeping myself. So instead of starting dinner while he was napping yesterday afternoon, I laid down myself.

We had basmati rice, fried flounder and ice tea to drink. The flounder was breaded with corn meal and seasonings. It turned out pretty good. No vegetables because I have to go to the store.

Mmmm...we went the lazy route. LOL We had pizza delivered. :p

We had carne asada tacos with beans and spanish rice. The kids love carne asada and the store had it on sell. Tonight we are having pizza as for it is my late night at work.

We skipped dinner tonight. We went out for lunch and then stopped for frozen custard on the way home. I was still so full at dinner time we just fed the baby leftovers and we skipped eating all together.

sunday.........family day

sunday before christmas, lots of people coming together......so we had
paella valenciana, slightly altered. we added to the chicken and the rabbit some nice big prawns!!
absolutely yummy, especially with the right amount of wine!!

Spice-crusted pork chops, sweet onion mashed potatoes, glazed carrots. YUM.

last night was chicken quesadillas (like every sunday night)....tonight I'm thinking about a mexican pizza. I have a few refried beans I need to use before they go bad...

Ooooh! I love chicken quesadillas! They are so good! I haven't had those in forever. Maybe I'll have them sometime soon.

We had Pork Chops with a Carribian Jerk marinade. ALso made some angel hair pasta with garlic, olive oil, parmesaen cheese and some herbs. Not sure what it will be tonight since we have a concert to go to for one of the children. Maybe it will be a dinner out or pizza since they are both quick.

i had boiled dry noodles with my own special sauce, bratwurst sausage, boiled vegetables and a bowl of soup, with my wife.

good food, good company... ah... tat's life! :D

We had BBQ cups, homemade mashed potatoes with cream cheese and basil, and green beans.

Last night we had something really easy lol. I just cooked a couple of pounds of ground beef. Then I mixed in a box of macaroni and cheese. Next I added some Kraft deli deluxe cheese, a can of sweet peas and seasoned it some more. It turned out pretty good.

We had Tomato-Beef Biscuit Bake. I should have made some kind of veggie to go with it, but 1) my cupboards & freezer are empty (thankfully this weekend is payday weekend) & 2) I didn't have the energy last night to even warm up a can of veggies. I will be so glad when I finally deliver this child, he's just too big & making it hard to do anything. I don't remember being this big with either of my girls.

You're getting so close! Have you guys picked out a name?

I had grilled cheese sandwiches and soup. Sounds quite simple, and I guess it was, but I hadn't eaten a grilled cheese in forever and it was soooo good.

I'm boring boring boring....last night we had a chicken and mushroom pizza. I'd spent all day in the kitchen baking cookies and I just wasn't in the mood to spend all evening making dinner.

hubby was super late home from work last night, so I just threw together a potpie.

the baby ended up eating a few of the mixed veggies and a whole can of mandarin oranges (I should start buying them by the case!)
